CD 1 and Day 5 Blastocysts

Yay, IVF is the only time when you get excited on your flow starting. I woke this morning to a full bleed, so I notified the nurse via the app on my iPhone. Tomorrow, I go in for baseline bloodwork/ultrasound and start the estrogen pills and patch on Saturday.I am so excited!!! February, the month of love, our potential baby will be implanted! Our FET will happen on February 17, 2017. This is a Friday and I will have the whole weekend to relax and hope for the best.

I called the acupuncturist and made weekly appointments leading up to the transfer and once I know the time of the transfer, will have acupuncture before and after.

Now, today at work, I am still dizzy and nauseated PLUS awful cramps. My flow is heavy today, something I am not used to, nor am I used to having cramps. There is a heating pad in my future when I get home.

Daily checkup call on our embryos and 10 blastocysts made it to biopsy and freeze. The 9 remaining are progressing slower and tomorrow they will freeze some of them that are ready. PGS testing takes 2 weeks to find out the results. We tested two extra to insure that we have an amble number of healthy embryos and also insure that we had more than one XX embryo as we really want a girl. I am dreaming of a little girl and can't wait to start decorating her nursery!

Our first FET (frozen embryo transfer) cycle after an IVF miscarriage:
