13w1d - Felt baby boy move

I just left for lunch and I felt Matheson kicking while I was driving.

At first, I was like, "what is that?" and then I realized that exactly where I the u/s tech had showed me where he was is where I was feeling the movements. I can't wait for Nick to feel this, but right now, I am just smiling ear to ear!

It's a.....

I am a few days behind posting, but our NT test came back normal and we are having....

A BOY!!!!

Very exciting to finally know. I mean, we figured the baby was a boy, but now we have confirmation.

Matheson Paul Norstrom

I am so in love with him already. I was just meant to be a boy mom.

The NT ultrasound on 4/19 was great. Everything is normal and on schedule and we could see his tiny baby penis on the ultrasound!

Nick and I also had the meeting with the financial counselor and we will only owe the doctor $350, which is a welcome shock after paying over $30k in IVF costs. Now, that doesn't include the hospital or anesthesiologist fees.

11w4d Graduated from fertility clinic

Today was bittersweet and I cried. My last appointment at HFI. I made it and I graduated!!!

I brought cookies and all my extra meds. I will miss Dr Yeh and the nurses there were beyond amazing.

I will start weaning the rest of the meds I am on and be off by Sunday, when I am 12 weeks.

11w1d ultrasound at OB

Wow, I am amazed at how much baby grows in just a short few days! Baby is measuring 11w5d and just a waving and kicking around in there. The OB ultrasound room at Complete Women's Care Center had such a better ultrasound machine than HFI. Very crisp, clear images and a large TV for viewing. The picture quality is better too.

I got to meet Dr. Kelly. I liked her and I like the facility.

10w4d -Ultrasound

I woke up today not feeling completely overwhelmed with life! I felt better yesterday too and we even had friends over for dinner. I feel great. I am not nauseous or exhausted. The sun is shining outside on a beautiful Spring day!

I am 10w4d and baby was measuring 11w0d. He was kicking and moving away. I can't wait to feel all those kicks! I have two more visits with the RE until I am released. I am excited for no more medication. I await the text message today telling me what to reduce on meds next.

This quote was at the RE’s office this morning and totally resonated with me.

10 weeks today

Today is Easter, April 1st. I started this FET cycle on January 21st. My due date still seems so far off and we have so much farther to go.  But it's April now and Spring is in full bloom. The weather is gorgeous. Exhaustion is still my biggest enemy.

Two more weeks until we can tell the world that we are having a baby!

My birthday is next Saturday (34...EEEEK!) and I am having brunch with some friends of ours and I plan on telling them first. At 11 weeks, I feel ok to do so.

Yesterday, I went to The Woodlands for my hair appointment. I stopped at Pottery Barn Kids and bought several items. I had $75 in rewards available and got 25% off the giant giraffe that Nick wanted for the nursery. I also saw the crib in person that I have been eyeballing and loved it!

It's hard to believe we have gotten this far. The ultrasounds get more exciting week after week. The baby was kicking his legs and waving his arms! It was such a beautiful sight. Heartbeat sounded beautiful at 178bpm and I am still measuring right on schedule!

Dr Yeh finally started tirating my PIO. I was able to go done from 3.5ml to 1.5ml, which helped allot with injections as I was able to use the smaller needle. I also got to remove another patch.

I am still on a ton of medication. I should be off everything at 12 weeks.

1 estrogen patch every 3 days
4 estrogen pills 2x per day
3x per day Prometrium
1 Lovenox injection every day
1.5ml of PIO injection per day
